“A forest in South-East Asia. Pale light filters through the green canopy. From a fine veil of mist - the mist that shrouded the world in the beginning - tall trees emerge. They are Aquilarias, increasingly rare. Hidden inside is their treasure. Agarwood. Al Oud. The Wood of the Gods”.

Due to a quirk of nature, the rarest, most precious of perfumes is born from an imperfection. The Aquilaria tree produces a dark, aromatic resin to defend itself from a particular mould. Different peoples have called it Gaharu, Jinko, Aloe, Agarwood or simply Oud.
This concept of perfume dates back to the Bible, evoking the deepest contemplation and the warmest sensuality in equal measure.

Today’s rediscovery of Oud lies at the heart of our formula. Accompanying it are dark and golden notes of Mandarin, Incense, Papyrus, Patchouli, Laudanum, Cedar, Java Vetiver, Birch and Sandalwood. Yet just beneath them, a dark, woody fragrance releases all its mystical powers of seduction.

On escalators in the city metro or the top floor of a skyscraper, it reveals the presence of someone who understands and controls their passions.
